I just had a 1000 dollar sale from a parked domain name.

I just sold H*o*l*y*l*a*n*d*P*a*r*k.com for 1000 dollars. I had paid 3 years of renewals on this name that I got for $1 dollar on auction, so my profit after $57.27 in expenses (including Paypal fees) is $942.73. I think I could have gotten more for this one, but 1000 was a strong opening offer, so I accepted.

I think it was a good price Joe. Nothing to kick yourself over there. Congratz
I do too, its just that the guy seemed so eager to pay anything extra that means he would have paid almost anything, but hey, I am happy with it. 1000 for a 1 dollar drop auction domain, not like that happens daily.

Nice work. Did they just look up your email and shoot you an offer over?

Note, almost all my domains have privacy on the whois, to stop the spammers. But I would not do that if I did not constantly get emails about wanting to redo my websites. With almost 200 domain names, that can get tiring.

Understandable! Thanks for the insight.

I know others have more, its just that its frustrating after a while when these spammers constantly email you with those messages. it is one of the reasons I love NameSilo. They have free privacy.
