Hi
Justdropped.com is looking for a few people to help test our logon page and search page. If i could kindly ask a few members to signup and conduct a few searches and then log
back on and try it again. I need to know what type of web browser you are using. We have been receiving complaints that our system does not recognize members as being logged on. I am trying
to pinpoint if this is related to a certain browser.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

PS - In return we will credit your account with a bunch of FREE searches :)

working fine here, Firefox 2.0.0.6

account virtualt

Thanks Virtualt
Were you able to log back out and in again and conduct a few searches and have the system recognize you?

logging in and out is fine, however I have found that the cookie isn't lasting if I close the browser down, which is not ideal :)

Thanks Lazyleo,
If you logon and close out your browser and revisit the site do you need to log back on?

Nope when i logon and restart the browser i am already logged in :)

Great, looks like the cookie works for you. What version of ff are you using?

Firefox 2.0.0.6 :)

Thanks
Anyone running IE7 that can help test for us?

I'm already a free member ( tims ), using firefox 2.0.0.6 after login it showed a godaddy ad. After clicking at the bottom, it took me to the search page all rgiht. When I closed firefox, and reopen I had to login again.

From what I remember though, I was having problems before. It seem much like the cookies, getting messed up with firefox. I even skipped doing searchs a few times, after I updated to the new firefox it did seem to work better though. But I'm pretty sure, it was the cookies, as it would forget and force me to login again when it had problems.

Thanks Tims
Sounds like all is working fine for you now. The cookie is per session. I added some searches to your account.
