the .com for a major site,what other tld's and cctld's would you register ?

Because i am just a couple of weeks away from launching a massive site but i got the.com,.co.uk.net and i was just wondering is their anymore like .de etc ?

if you have a way to translate your site, every language should have its corresponding cc extension.
german .de
french .fr
spanish .es
russian .ru
italian .it
canadian .ehhh?

Maybe .de and .fr but inconsequential if the English doesn't work. I'd say you have important bases covered already. I already learned this lesson :)

Thats a point i mean would you have the .de or .es in their own language .com or keep it the same as the .com as in English or both ?

Having duplicate content on different domains is a big no no with google. If the content is translated its not seen as duplicate content though.

Yeah - if you can translate to the ccTLD language you have no problem -- in fact a big plus!
