I'm in the US - how can I get ccTLDs?

I'm in the US but I may start devoloping websites for people in other countries. I may need some ccTLDs (.de, .be, .ca, .uk etc..).

I know most ccTLDs have policies that you need an address or be a citizen of that country to own a ccTLD.

Would I be able to put the client's information as an administrative contact to be able to get these domains (if they live in the country where the ccTLD is based in)?

As long as you can meet the registry requirements you can manage the cctld from the US.

For example, .de requires that the Admin-C be located in Germany so you will either list your clients contact information if they are in Germany or use a registrar that offers local presence service to meet the requirement.

Canada has a local presence requirement as well and the Canadian company is listed as the owner and not just admin.

Many cctlds, including .be, are unrestricted so anyone can register and you just need to find a registrar that supports the extension.

In cases where you need to have a presence in the given country in order to register a domain under it's registry you can use a registrar that can act as your proxy - meaning he will be your local presence in that country

Eurodns.com provides that with most ccTLDs
