i recently launched http://www.websitehostinglist.com
I havent spent too much time on it - the site is quite basic looking but its good enough for the type of site it is.
What i need
Im looking for someone to beef up the directory - ie. sign up and manually submit as many quality hosting sites as they can. Im hoping to get more than 1000 sites listed in the next month - to be honest i want much more than that and i dont see any reason why i cant do it.
What i suggest is someone sign up and go through the listings at dmoz and add as many as they can from there.
I have no problem with several people doing this but some sort of coordination would have to be established so that duplicate sites are not submitted.
Whats in it for you?
Im spending all the cash i have available on another project but i will definately make it worthwhile for anyone who does this for me. This task may suit someone at high school or someone with a lot of time or whatever.
Some ideas of what i can do in return.For example for every 500 sites submitted or whatever :-
Im open to suggestions/bartering or whatever for whatever you feel to be a fair price for what is essentially a simple thing to do but very tedious and time consuming.
I do stress however that this will probably suit a young lad more and will hopefully give them a chance to gain a domain or promote one they already own.
