Income Tax in the USA

I think tax is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high in the UK. I think you pay something like 40% for all earnings over £27k (about $40k), with 22% below that.

What is income tax like in the USA? Should be moving there next year and would like to know what its like.

Taxes are taxes. They are high here in the US as well. The tax code is far too complicated to get into on a message forum though. :)

Lower taxes than Canada at least.

Hmm, Depends what income level you come at. I know that highest is %40 overall for about everything. I think middle class is somewhere around %37 and lowest (Most people) ranges around %20-30 but then again thats not including sales tax and such.
