I own Bindu.tv and looking to develop it or other interesting ideas (maybe sell not sure) so this group would be ideal for that.

Thanks :)

Hello Everyone,

Please send me invite and add me to the Indian Domainers Group, but I don't have any .in or .co.in domains yet even though we have lots of Indian domains in mainly .com extension.

DNF Username: DomainEngineer

I have been domaining for almost 10 years....own a lot of domains including 100s of Indian domains some of which are DesiMasti.com, Gullidanda.com, Maikhana.com, Udaas.com, Pyaas.com, DesiEngine.com, DardeDil.com, RomanceIndia.com, AishKaro.com, Bechain.com, Bekarari.com, Betaab.com, Madhoshi.com, Jhanjhar.com, Honth.com, Ghunghat.com, Deewangi.com, Husn.info, Shaadi.info, IndiaHotline.com, Awaragardi.com, FilmiSitare.com, Gudgudi.com, Gundagardi.com, Hindus.info, HindustanNews.com, DesiPoker.com, IndiaPoker.com, etc etc. Also own lots of Indian geo-targeted domains. About 5% of our names are India related and believe me I just love our Indian Domains.

Nice to meet you all.

Looking forward to chatting with you.

Have a nice day.

Thanks.

Hi - never got my invite. I know this is not an appraisal thread but with so many indian domainers here i was just wondering what everyone thought of the domain Bindu.tv - I had intended to develop it so i registered it for awhile but i have so many projects now I cant seem to find the time so I might sell it to someone who can realize it to it's full potential. I was envisioning it as the Indian YouTube/Myspace since the name means "dot" (literally dot.tv! if you will) but also: you, me, God, "everything" wrapped up into one so it seems like a perfect social networking name for the India market. I have already recieved unsolicited offers on it in the low-mid $xxx range. Any thoughts? Thanks very much!

Ummm... no, I does'nt mean that LOL You're probably thinking of "Bindi", the "dot" worn by women and also a female name although Bindu might be a female name as well however Bindi is the feminine version of Bindu. There is 638,000 results on Google for "Bindu" and 1,340,000 results on Yahoo - Being from India I am suprised you dont know that but I guess you are not a very spiritual person or maybe just not Hindu but in any case...

"Bindu is a Sanskrit term meaning "point" or "dot"... In metaphysical terms Bindu is held to be the point at which begins creation and the point at which the unity becomes the many. In his exegesis of Yantra, Khanna (1979: p.171) states that Bindu "...is the sacred symbol of the cosmos in its unmanifested state".

bindu: (Sanskrit) "A drop, small particle, dot."

1) The seed or source of creation. In the 36 tattvas, the nucleus or first particle of transcendent light, technically called Parabindu, corresponding to the Shakti tattva. Scientists say the whole universe just before the big bang could fit on the head of a pin- a tremendous point of energy- that is Parabindu.

elitedomains - first name? location?

Bindu=girls name is all, nothing too exciting. Sell, yup, but don't expect too much.

I'm going to be away for about three weeks so invitations etc might be delayed. Cheers!
