Hi,

I am a newbie to this forum, internet and affiliate marketing.

1 year ago I had one "this make sense" feeling when the .info was released. So I jumped at the bandwagon knowing:
"If you don't jump now you're gonna regret 10x later."

So I jumped.......

In Scandinavia .info makes perfect sense and more and more sites are released.

I was reading one very interesting thread about people making $3-400 after one year and looking for the $1000 break in one year time. But this thread ended up in som nonsens discussion about som noname ppc.

What I would like to discuss is affiliate marketing and use of .info domains.

After registering "alot" of domains I started looking around for info. Reading from the affiliate/Marketing gurus like Corey Rudl, Ken Evoy, Chuck Mc(something), Alan Gardyn. GREAT STUFF!

They all tell you the same story:
"people go to the internet looking for information, not to buy"
and then they tell you: "if you don't have a .com you're out of the game"

If they are correct about "looking for info" wouldn't it make perfect sense with a .info instead of a .com?

The .info warming up (affiliate) before the .com (buy!)

So my fellow internet friends, whats your experiance with .info and affiliate marketing?

PS! I released my first site in april, 3 months later my online earnings exedeed my offline, only .info no .com and affiliate marketing.

Looking forward to hear from you!
Thanks!

Yes, windows, .info is one heck of a great extension. .com is just a vestige of the past, and on the internet, preferences can change very fast. Look what happened to MS Windows.
