I've had inquiries ("How much you want for...") made for my
following names:
UhOh.com
SecretRoom.com
ResearchFirm.com
Chords.net
Colds.org

Would like your opinion on the value for each name.

ResearchFirm.com - $1,125 firm
Chords.net Colds.org as a bundle - $885 or $345 each

the above valuations seem to be in the ballpark. However if you can afford to possibly lose a potential sale i always say if they come to you unsolicited they should make an offer. why box yourself into a price point that they may be willing to exceed. your tolerance for risk will determine your stance but you cant fall up the stairs. i think researchfirm and colds.org could fetch quite a bit with the right buyer. try to ascertain the identity of the buyer and do a little research. are you dealing with a broker individual or a fortune 500 company

agree with avs, probably a good idea to research the buyer rather than trying to value the names in insolation.

Get phone numbers and personally contact them. Feel them out without committing to anything. If you feel they are genuine buyers, get a professional appraisal from EchoArts.com and email to the potential buyer(s). I would ask for 25% over the CMV (current market value). Good luck.

I also agree with AVS. The buyer could be anything from a (very) deep pocket to a lil' kid playing on the aol account.

Thanks for the help. You're all right--I don't know whether the inquiries are coming from a tire-kicker or a big shooter. It' best if I find out first before commiting to any price.

And, besides, the worst that could happen is that I'll hold on to them until something better comes along.
