So I am Interested in buying a dropped domain, and it's a PR4 according to PremiumDrops.com, but when I use a PR checker it gets an error.

If i register this domain will the PR checker work with this domain again? Or is that PR lost along with it's link pop?

I am under the impression that some PR checkers do not show results for unregistered domains.... maybe try another checker? .. Dnscoop.com
