Has anyone else read this article about how Canadian businesses are lagging behind businesses in other countries in terms of online advertising?

What are you thoughts on this? Do you agree?

Thanks for posting that! Interesting stuff....

I agree that Canadian businesses lag in internet use. Evidence of this is in the .ca space Compared to other countries, where Canada has seriously undervalued domain prices in the resale market and underutilized domains in the business world (although that is improving).

I recall reading that Canadians are also slow to adopt cell phones (usage, mobile ads, mobile payments etc.) as compared to other countries. Usually we lag trends appearing in the U.S. too.

Maybe it's due to Canadians being more conservative as a country/people and this affects the way we behave in the business world too?

Well it's much better than it was three or four years ago. And it should keep getting better over time.
