Interesting .mobi Ebay Auction

$560 for 17 names works out to only $32.95 each. The ones I checked were Registered at GoDaddy, so they cost $30 each to register. I guess that still leaves $50 profit minus ebay fees. It is nice to see that there were several different bidders though.

the names were not really great IMO

True... but good enough to draw interest from several bidders. Did you see the bid history? 3 or 4 different bidders in the higher range. Good news for sure.

He is a member over at NP, Had a pretty long thread in relation to this auction.

Unfortunately that was not exactly the case.

Two bidders there, vivekp84 and danmanmktng, had feedback of zero what raises questions if they were legitimate bidders or someone else with shill bidding.

We have to be suspicious about everything theses days...

Well in that auction i didn't see one that would have interested me in the slightest! Good luck to the winning bidder! He/she will need it! LOL

It finished at a pretty reasonable price I think.

not the best sale! 570$/17 domains= 32.9 $each!

assuming that the seller have registered them at godaddy at 30.48 $ each, he luckily made approx 2.50$ per name which is total $42

minus- ebay and paypal fees = ZERO Profit

what is it so reasonable here ? :lie:

Look at it this way, with no reserve he could have lost quite a bit.

huh are you saying that .mobi is bankrupt already and just trying to escape the market without major financial losses? heh, i knew it will come eventually , but not that fast..:-#

No... I think .mobi is just starting to explode. But in an auction with no reserve, he could have had a winning bid that didn't cover registration costs.
