I recently transferred a name from RegisterFly to eNom. The transfer went thru - and the name is now in my eNom account. However the name is also still in my RegisterFly account. It's been over a week since the transfer - so it doesn't look like it's going to fix itself. I would have never known if I hadn't decided to go back - and check my RegisterFly account to make sure it was empty before I moved on from there. I will contact support at RegisterFly - but I was wondering if anybody else has seen this happen?? (RegisterFly is an eNom reseller by the way)

Happens a lot. My stargate account is filled with ghosts. No worries, the name is at enom.

yeah, I've got the same thing happening with one of mine. Whois shows it in enom so I'm not really worried, but I'd be interested to see what you come up with.

Hehe Doobie - filled with 'ghosts' huh? :)

You would think after moving hundreds of names around I would have seen this before - but I haven't.

Interesting.....

Same thing happened to me when I transferred out of there. Until I had it cleared up the domain wouldn't resolve properly.

Contact Tim Shor to have it removed. He is aware of this problem. I am sending you his email.

hey zoo would you mind sending it to me too?

thanks!

Same here. When I transfered domains from namecheap or www.myid.biz to another enom account. The name still listed .... as other says it was a ghost... hahaha

I'm transferring my domains out of dotster and they're all still there :)

I had the same thing happen a couple times. Just make sure that the auto-renew feature is turned off at your old registrar. ;)

No doubt RJ. It would really suck to pay renewal fees for ghosts! :)

I had this happen myself. I think it finally clears up about once a month when they update their database. Mine cleared up, but it took many weeks, presumably after it passed their drop date.

I too keep getting renewal notice emails from registerfly for a name I transferred to namecheap two weeks ago.

I got renewal notices from registerfly for about 2 months.
The notices stoped once the domains expired.(in registerfly only!)
