Publicly traded WebMediaBrands, Inc. reported the sale of its Internet.com division for $18,000,000 to QuinStreet, Inc, in an all cash deal that is pending approval from the WMB board of directors. The Internet.com Network is comprised of many different brands focusing on developers, IT, Internet news, personal technology and small business.

Internet.com brands that are also presumably included in the deal are BlackberryGuide.com, InternetNews.com, DatabaseJournal.com, WebDeveloper.com, JavaScript.com, Developer.com, and many others.

 Sounds like a bargain to me..

I was $17,999,999 too short unfortunately.

Great Price. Plus with all the other superb brands D included its a suitable deal.

Internet.com domain alone is worth 18 millions , IMO.

I think you forgot to list Graphics.com.. lol oh it wasnt included in the deal !!
Here is a link to official press release.

...sounds like a steal to me!

A "steal" at this price ? Well...
Its a total bargain.

I'm pretty sure this company was valuated at much more.

Plus they had hundreds of properties, guess the sold the good brands and kept the money makers. ;)

A great deal, a boat load of cash for this economy, but a little development work will go a long way on some of these sites.

Wow, I wonder if this sale includes one of the longest running tech support forums on the internet (who was owned by Internet.com)?

I agree, this is a good deal. I think $18 mil is nothing for many companies to spend. I am pretty sure that there are companies out there spending 6 digits monthly on advertisement in IT sector. They could easily pay for this network more.
