Your appraisals are greatly appreciated - Thanks!

mix XXX at best unless developed
Good Luck :)

I bet whois.sc would buy that one off you $2000

I'd agree with a low appraisal... but developed and being usefull this can be a great (site) and of course memorable.

You'd have to make a plan, spend some dev money and make it the source (of something usefull)

not too familiar with the extension but very nice anyways :)

I am thinking along the lines of developing it into some or all of the below:

Internet Source with
Internet Security
Internet Statistics
Internet Search
Internet Services
Internet Solutions

Any other suggestions?

Keep it tidy and professional and I'm sure people will return on a regular basis. The .sc is most memorable by domainers in my opinion. So keeping it in that scheme would of course be a good choice.. the name itself says it all.

The only reason i go to whois.sc is for the bulk whois.. and once in a while i take a visit to the other pages.

How would I best go about approaching them if I thought they were interested in buying it?

I think developing it would be the way to go.
it's not like you can't find appropriate content...:-)

I think it's a rememberable domain and easy to market.

Like any good site on the internet, as long as I provide useful and relevant services, people will keep coming back - even better, something unique.

I agree, domainers will recognize the extension more than the average surfer, and would be a good target demographic to start with, bearing in mind to provide services and solutions that will also be attractive to the larger Internet market, whom will become more familiar with the extension in time.

Thanks for the input Jack, and everyone - keep it coming please!

Keyword is top-notch but poor TLD.
To get round this one way would be to brand the TLD as 'source' just like whois.sc is doing.
BTW as said above, whois.sc might be interested in that kind of name, it just fits well with their business.
For the time being I would appraise at high $$$ but it can be worth much more to the right end user. Hold on to the name and don't let it go for cheap. I believe it can ultimately reap more than $2000.

Locate a Seychelles business, sell for thousands of dollars. I worked for a company that used that same keyword in another country. We'd get hundreds of type-ins daily. It was an Internet Service Provider.

The domain looks good, now it's up to up to make it more valuable.

low - mid $xxx -> undeveloped

I also picked up www.DNS.sc :-)

Together with www.Internet.sc - they sound like a Hosting & Services Business waiting to happen.

What do you think?

How do you think this will effect the price as a domain name combo?
