MaxiBeat.Com is aproximately a month old general internet directory which runs on free version of phpld. Directory has 750 categories and close to 2600 hand submitted links. MaxiBeat is growing and getting popular at a rapid rate with over 50 new site submissions per day. The site design is based on a slightly customized phpld template optimized for search engines. Site currently gets close to 200-300 visitors and 500-600 page impressions a day. Traffic stats are available at http://www.namewolf.com/maxi1.jpg for January and http://www.namewolf.com/maxi2.jpg. Current traffic is generated through forum posts, links from directories, signatures, and word of mouth. Other then promoting the directory at a few forums, I havent' done any promotion or advertising so far. Site is already indexed by Google.
