Internext FL Adult List posted

None of mine made the list, again...
Well, I got an email asking me to lower the reserve.

I wouldn't count on that list just yet. It seems to be extremely preliminary.

Of the 850 names in the present list, I believe it was created from just a quick assembly of possible names from the 10,000+ received. In addition, this is way too large a list for the Live auction and too small (based on precedent) for the Silent. Less than 100 of these are truly Live quality.

This list also contains names likely to be removed because they are totally not relevant to Internext, such as regional names (LasVegas________ or NY________), 3-word non-adult names related to boat travel (huh?) and a regional winery (wtf??), serious misspellings (it's bitches, not bitchs), and useless TLD's like .org (in the adult world???) and .mobi (I'm ducking...). It also didn't list the bundled domains.

I'm sure the Moniker crew has a lot more work to do and is still awaiting replies regarding reserve reductions.

Wish I was going. Hope someone here will go and keep us posted as the Live occurs.

Well said, Bellc1
i agree that some of the names were not of the quality i would have expectd. Like you said, hopefully this is just preliminary -

sales@moniker never responded to my inquiry, well before the cutoff date.

The cutoff was over 1 month ago, 6/15.

How many of you received requests from Moniker to lower your reserves?

They have one name on there twice. FrenchW.....

This is the first time I did not receive one, 4 out of about 60 domains got in, I really thought more would make it since I have quite a nice list of Adult domains, it must of been the reserves.

Raider - are your domains hosted with Moniker?
I've heard those get preferential treatment.
I think the list has a lot of garbage on it... but that may be sour grapes on my part since none of my domain names (including a one word dot com) made the list - third time for me that none of mine made the list.
I don't see the buzz about this auction that there was around T.R.A.F.F.I.C. either. That auction was everywhere.
I've checked a couple of adult boards that I frequent - and I'm not seeing much more than a passing comment on it. I may post and see if I can get some comments

Their not, I do know the escrow process is easier and faster having them at Moniker, other than that, I'm not sure if domains receive preferential when being considered for the auctions.

Any thoughts?
Anyone going?

===============================

Of the 875 names on the list There are only 62 names that are outside the $1000-5000 reserve category and 29 names with no reserve.

There doesn't seem to be any middle ground with the names that made it in this time. They either have super low reserves or are big ticket names.

Should be an interesting event in any case.

I believe we will see a whole lot of adjustment to that list in the next two weeks.

Who do we have broadcasting the event? I liked the way EJS did it last time.
