I guess much of the increase in profit is to do with auctioning drops.

I think Network Solutions (Good Name though!), will find it tough doing the Webmaster/Small Business Consultant thing! There are a lot good small business out there offering these kinds of solutions and probably much better than any one size fits all solution that NetSol is likely to come up with!

Actually, Snapnames deserves the kudos for that. Without Snaps, Netsol will still be in the red, imho.

Yes, he make some fair points, but frankly I think the comparisons would be less favourable against the likes of domainsite.com

I don't see why SnapNames is even in the picture. As soon as the contract expires it would be easy to run in-house. Domainers are smart enough to move to where(ever) the domains are. Endusers can be best targeted thru NetSol's website.

Thing is with everything else, it is a law of diminishing returns. I know you must be pretty thick to register with NetSol, but even there, more owners will wake up to the value of their assets and won't let them drop. Not only that some of those daydreamers will eventually wake up to the fact that they are being screwed big time and transfer out. You really do need a good domain to justify reregistering it there!

As for their hundred year deal, well it not just an indefinite interest free loan, the owner actually pays them richly for being the custodians of their money.
Talk about customer care!

Actually, both Netsol and Godday are totally ignoring the requirements of 90% of the potential market by not supporting IDN Names!!!

Two dinosaurs arguing over a carcus when the largest meteorite since the formation of the domain planet is about to strike!
