Why not make your first post today by saying hello to our community in our Introductions forum.

Well, since I had the message on top of the screen, I figured I'd make my first post to the introductions forum. But there isn't one. Or if there is, it's so well hidden that it'd definitely be worth making that message a link. So here's my suggestion, and my first post :D.

Gold Cafe would be the right place. :-)

An intro forum could be cool. It gives new people a place to feel comfortable posting without having their intro posts pushed to the bottom of the page by other posts. It also gives veteran members a place to stop by every once in a while and say hi to new people.

I'd be for it. :-)

Good idea.
I see that some people make intros in the newbies section then.

Welcome Quenting.

On my forum in the "general" category I have an Introduce Yourself thread that's sticky. My idea for it is so that if someone searches for a location they will find that thread and find someone with similar interests in their city/town/state/whatever

Yeah an itro section would be great, this is my first post :D - would be good too see.
