Both of them "caught" it three days ago and both of them auctioned it off today! (NameWinner brought $220. and Enom brought $450) Very weird!?

I didn't know about it being at NW.

I stopped bidding at $ 200. at enom.

If the name was caught a couple days ago, there is no reason
for both of them continuing with the auction.

The back office operations should have realized they didn't own the domain.

I wonder how often this happens?

Last month, Enom and Snapnames charged me for the same domain. After sending an
email to both. Enom put the money back into my acct.

Hello Richard,

How the hell are you? Long time no speak (write)!

Trafficnames just PM'd me that the WHOIS says Enom. Guess NameWinner was just "fartin' in the wind!"

There is a situation wherein, during the drop, Verisign can send an incorrect result code. I've written Club Drop to reverify all acquisitions after the drop is done, but every now and again a wrong code still gets through. It's very rare, but it does happen. Both "you got it" as well as "you didn't get it" results can be wrong.

Again, VERY rare. But not zero.

I see it this way: Namewinner caught it and split with Enom (450-220)/2 -> Namewinner cashed 345 and Enom 115
;)
