Is cellphone spamming coming?

I was wondering if .mobi is a huge success, will people start getting spam phone calls on their cellphone like they do on email? Do cellphones use an ip address or the phone number for searching? Can a location of a cellphone search be located? What about click fraud? Any answers anyone?

Nothing more certain than cellphone spam is coming, it will only be an extension of the ever growing email spam, but will have nothing to do with .mobi, as email spam today has nothing to do with .com.

And the phone companies are going to be very careful to try and shield their customers from as much as they possibly can.

Keep in mind though that as cellphone numbers get published in phone directories there is no easy way to stop companies randomly calling you, as the marketing companies..etc..do today.
