Doc Com,

That actually explains why one of the sites I put up quickly jumped up to the first page results for the person's "Real Name" along with a few other (common) keywords. (Along with the person's natural SEO skill, too bad he's not technical).

So a new rule, update and update often. :)

Has anyone tried SEO Hosting? It's owned by HostGator, but doesn't seem to be very well known. Each site can be hosted on a separate Class C IP, which may help with SEO. The downside is it can be quite expensive if you're hosting a lot of sites.

I currently use HostGator shared, but the 938 other sites on the server (according to DomainTools) might be hurting mine in the rankings. I'd be interested about some of the results some members here have got with SEO Hosting.

I'd be interested in knowing as well if this might be the answer...

Update: I just checked and all sites are where they were before on the first page. WTF???

Some times, Google just shuffles their rankings slightly, for a say or too & then It comes back to normal.

Well after a few days of normalcy they are shuffling my sites again. This is like a rollercoaster ride. Is anyone else experiencing this with a Hostgator account?
