Is Pool.com closing or not? They just caught a domain I was chasing!

A while back I saw posts about Pool closing and getting domains transferred away from them. Some claimed to have received an email from them about it, but I (a long time customers) never received such an email.

Now, months later, their website still seems fully functional, their lists are still updated daily, and they hotlist emails still arrive daily.

I assumed they were just leaving those things on autopilot while things wrapped up, and refrained from backordering there.

Guess what -- I was beaten at the drop today on a domain I was chasing... caught by POOL.COM!

What the heck is going on??

Still in business, but they slashed a number of their registrars.
