I have a domain which I think and according to Past Sales worth something good. I am not getting any offers as there are millions of domains on Sedo.

So, I was thinking to give Sedo Featured domains a try. Is it worth it? Has anyone used it before? Did it work out for someone?

Please help

Thanks
Saad

Hi

1. having a domain which is similar to something else that sold, is no guarantee your domain will sell or has any value at all.

2. depending on how long it's been listed with no offers, it may not be worthy.

2a. is your domain parked with sedo? if not, then you should park there first before considering a featured spot.
2b. have there been any searches from sedo for your domain or any visitors?

3. if it is parked with sedo and you have no visitors, then it's not a good idea to buy a featured listing because the domain may have no value.

imo...

1. agreed
2.a around 6 months
2.b dont know

3. parked with sedo from around a month and got 5-10 visitors

Can I PM you the name...?

All depends on the name... Dont waste your money if the name isnt good enough.

If it's 5-10 daily visitors it's worth a shot at featured listing.
If it's 5-10 visits per month I would not waste the money.
How many of those visits were you checking the site?

I've never used Sedo's featured site either but I've oftened wondered the same question. I think the domain owner is asking others of their experiences with that site...it seems to me he's already decided his domain is good enough but he wants to know if others have had much luck using the sedo site.

Of course everybody really wants to know what the name is and then base their opinions on their estimated value of it....if any :smilewinkgrin:

Good question let me try it out, I am going to use ( wikileaks.la ) its not parked with sedo.

After this post I am going to go on sedo.com and buy the Sedo Featured and test it out.

I keep you posted

P.S - Stats on the offer page so far

Domain Statistics

Visitors to this Sedo offer page: 26 (previous 31 days)
Visitors to this domain’s website: 216 (previous 31 days)

Ths is a domain quality question. Works well for second-level premium domains but a waste of money on domains of lower quality. Look at your "sales settings" tab under domain management and it will show you how many people are viewing your for sale page vs. your parked page. If you are getting a decent number of views on the sales page, then you might think about whether you have the correct pricing strategy. (I.E. fixed price vs. make offer, price to high, etc.)
