Are they the best service to use? They seem a bit expensive, but I suppose its worth it.... what about Drop King?

Also, with snapnames if they fail to secure the domain, are you able to target another domain, so can you keep going until you actually secure a domain?

Snapnames is a great service but definitely not the best.
The expense factor is directly proportional to the the 'value' of the domain with most drop services.
The advantage with snap is that the cost is fixed.

In terms of success rate, pool.com seems to be the flavor of the season. Enjoy bidding!

I had 37 attempts with only 2 successes. Their success ratio is obviously lower than snapnames, but you get what you paid for.

But if snapnames dont get the domain you want, can you reuse that credit again and again until you get lucky?

Fox,

Godaddy is good at catching the typical low bid type names at NW ($8 - 26).

There is no guaranteed "sure winner" anywhere.

The only winner with each drop is the $ 6. that goes to Verisign.

BuyDomains is the best catcher.

They catch em and them list em for sale @ BuyDomains.com

So if ou really want a HOT name, use every service, and plan on buying it from BuyDomains (BD).

snapnames is probably 3rd or 4th now. Thier party is over and it don't look like its going to get any better soon. And when they dont get the name, they don't notify you immediately as they should. People used to call namewinner nameloser, but that changed for a while. SnapNames might be called SuckNames pretty soon because their success ratio has really fallen off the charts. I personally wont buy another snap . It looks like we are being relegated to bidding on names after they are won by pool, or bidding at namewinner. Prices are going through the roof, people are being foolish with there money, that includes me on occasion. A couple dozen serious players beating the $hit out of each other. Deep pocket guy usually wins. But are the names worth it? Few are, most arent. That's my opinion. Snap Names though, not even close to the best , anymore.

So you say Pool and Namewinner are 1st and 2nd or 2nd and 1st.
What is 3rd or 4th?
