If someone just caught a domain and is then selling it off.........is there a way to find out how much they actually paid for the domain??

Unless it's a public auction or a private auction that you're in, I doubt there will be other ways to get that info. But does it really matter? The price of a domain (used, pre-owned) has little if not nothing to do with its acquiring cost but demand and supply, right?
