I was wondering if there is an associatin for Domain name professionals.
I heard about some convention going on and also of the Registrars groups but what about resellers, hosting companies and name traders lke most people here?

Any leads?

Yes....as soon as GregR donates dolphins.com to me for a non-profit project I am thinking about doing.

What would be "professional" criteria?

a. Having sold a domain name?
b. Having a certain quantity of DN's.

I think registration should be open to any individual with some sort of a reseller account, verifiable at the registrar level.

Wow, I did not know that all you had to do was ask GregR and he donates domains! Dumb me, I was waiting until I got enough money.

I am preparing my donation request list now and will reference it to this thread. Is there any special code word or other info I should supply?

Apparently this domain name conference was a huge success.. check out their site.. it'll post upcoming dn conference's and may also have links to resources your seeking.

There is a domain name conference in NYC at the end of the month.
