Hi,

For 25.07.2007 I had the lowest revenue at NameDrive for quite some time...
But then for the next day 26.07.2007 I have a new record and practically the majority of my domain names show Avg PPC $0.02.

Anybody else with a same record? Or maybe there's something wrong with NameDrive?

Today the revenue for 26th was corrected to some extent.. It was tripled - still not the greatest but at least better than the initial "real" values.

Revenue is lower due to summer.

My big traffic domain - more than 250 uniques daily - now makes 3x the NameDrive amount once I moved it to Sedo.

I moved most of my domains back to sedo after disappointing earnings at ND as well

ND would have to rank as one of the lowest earning providers I ever tried.

I kept that particular domain at ND for 7 1/2 months. When I complained about the PPC dropping to 3 and 4 cents, I was told that my source of traffic pays this much.

At Sedo, the domain continues to receive the exact same number of daily hits. I parked it using a Search template. I get roughly the same number of clicks or less, but the PPC is at least three times that of ND's.

The revenue was corrected for that day.
Apart from that, I keep part of my names at namedrive because they are earning more than when they've been at Sedo. And even the rest of my domains at Sedo currently earn several times less than a few months ago. I just don't move them to namedrive because for this particular names there's no improvement.
Anyway, I think both providers could pay more than now but...

The whole parking business should not require so much science done on our part. The companies are making millions off our backs. In the next months I want to develop more of my sites, use AdSense and multiply my traffic.

If you do AdSense sites, use domains that have little to no traffic, AdSense pays pennies compared to what PPC pays, but if a domain is earning nothing now, it will earn something if you develop it into Adsense, something is better than nothing.

Yes, figured that out when I moved a portion of my portfolio to Parked. No parking co. is perfect. My Sedo zero-clickers now make money at Parked, which also has great keyword generation; thus increased SEO.

Any idea how to manage Chinese traffic?

you must ask the fortune cookie grasshopper

And then park them again?

Try here: http://www.dopa.com/

Someone I know said it was OK, there might be better ones available though.

good to hear that you are liking sedo finally

I just opened a namedrive account for a few of my type ins - I am Australian based and the type ins would be from AU traffic. The are financial themed - Huge PPC cost - and I am receiving 0.02$ a click! That is absolutely crazy - If this is the case, I myself am just going to build small content sites at least to make $$. 0.02$ seriously that is robbery for financial / credit card traffic.

Wow. This post is over 6 months old.

imarketing, we see all sorts of ranges for finance clicks. Just having a finance page doesn't automatically ensure that the PPC will be high paying as our advertising partner bases their PPC on a large amount of different factors. If you would like us to look at your account to ensure that you get the best returns for your domains, feel free to contact our Australian country manager, Simon by email at: simon - at- namedrive.com . Hopefully, he can help you to get the most out of the domains and explain the low earnings for your domains.

2 cents is straight robbery...even for porn clicks! LMAO

Thanks for replying to the Post ED - For me I have been burnt by the whole experience. With 10c a click I am not going to be happy. I was so excited about making reasonable return of this traffic. I had spoken to someone else in the forum that's getting $1-2 EPC off there US financial typo domains. Obviously they are just doing the advertising management themselves.

I know the online financial market well in Australia and I know how much people are paying Yahoo / Google. My earnings on actual sites for this traffic ranges from 3-6$ AUD EPC.

At this stage, I am going to build something up and see what EPC I can get. Then compare that to EPC that parking gets me.
