Newbie Question:
A two word .com generic is available with a hyphen between the two words. It is also available as a .net and as a .org without the hyphen.

Word1-Word2.com
Word1Word2.net
Word1Word2.org

At $8 a pop I think I'm going to get all three. But in general, which is preferrable?
thanks

check what happens with w1w2.com
it get significant traffic or not
overture result good or not
if the w1w2 for sale maybe you will wait untill it sold, if you want to sell too.

he he he

It depends what you want to do with the domain name.

I wanted the city .com (price was "how about $20,000)
CityCountry .com was registered so I registered City-Country.com

It now ranks in position one and two for a google.com.pe search on the City out of 1,670,000

I can live with that although I would of course like either the CityCountry .com or just the City .com
