it.com Domains, an innovative player in the global domain industry, is expanding its role beyond digital infrastructure by joining the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), a European Union–funded educational initiative designed to connect universities with external practitioners and bring more applied, cross-border learning into higher education.
Through its participation in the programme, it.com Domains is contributing to a collaborative educational framework involving institutions in Lithuania, Poland, and Bulgaria. The company’s role focuses on helping students develop innovative thinking, unlock personal potential, and build an entrepreneurial mindset — while also giving them practical tools to establish their own digital presence.
“We are not only providing domains,” says Natalija Japerte, Business Development Manager at it.com Domains. “We are creating a pathway for students to express their ideas, build confidence, and take ownership of their digital presence from the very beginning.”
As part of the programme, students receive access to a complete digital toolkit, including a .it.com domain name, hosting, and website-building tools. This allows them to create personal portfolio websites where they can present their work, share their ideas, and build an online identity they fully control.
By combining educational content with hands-on digital tools, the initiative is designed to help students move from theory to practice. Rather than learning about innovation in abstract terms, participants are encouraged to shape ideas into tangible outcomes and present themselves in a professional digital environment.
