I would appreciate any comments on this one. As I'm not sure if I'm going to develop it or sell it. I do really love the name, which is the main reason I want to develop it. But I might be wrong thinking this name is so good, so please share your thoughts. Thanks!

Thanks DNP and Tristan! I have the domain open for offers, but I will most likely keep it for a while. Perhaps develop it into some sort of site if I get an idea ..

The domain also has PR2!

More comments on this name is appreciated!

I have no idea, as I haven't had time to do much research on the domain yet. I have only had it parked on Sedo for 4-5 days .. and it gets 40-50 uniques/daily. As far as I know www.itug.com used to be a huge International TurboCAD Users Group site. The site has been registered and mostly developed since february 1998.

All the info I have gathered about the name so far can be seen at the Sedo link here:

Considering all the high quality abbreviations for this domain, an end-user might be possible to find.

Thanks for your input guys, always looking for more appraisals! Thanks!

EVOL.com $3,000 Jul 07
ITOP.com $4,600 Jul 07
OCUN.com $4,088 Jul 07
ITAT.com $2,070 Jul 07
EWAP.com $8,078 Jul 07
OPAX.com $4,488 Jul 07
UBIK.com $8,000 Jul 07
ITOG.com $5,500 Jun 07
ATIS.com $9,000 Jun 07
EPIK.com $3,100 May 07

.. a few of comparable VCVC.com sales lately .. I noticed iTog.com was sold for $5,500 .. :)

those are certainly end user prices..which means a reseller price for your domain is probably 25% of that. Which means reseller is mid to high $$$, and maybe a little higher because of the traffic, although it looks like the traffic comes from link exchanges and open directory submissions. How does it convert?

I would disagree that most of those are end user prices. Those names are of very high quality and many well established domainers with good economy would see them as a good investment. Just have a look at what domains sell for at Snapnames these days.

Most of the traffic probably comes from backlinks and similar, as itug.com has been the official site of the "International TurboCAD Users Group" , which used to be pretty huge. The domain was registered back in february, 1998 and has been developed most of the time.
