I'd sure appreciate some thoughts on the domain name and your idea of the potential value.

Thanks in advance

I went to a business course in high school called JA ( Junior Achivers) I have no Idea what it's worth but I love the name it brings back good memories.

The first thing that comes to my mind is Jihad something. Damn it, these days ...

^lol.

As for thr appraisal... Not much. There are still available 2 LL .ca domain names, and the prices for them don't go for all that much.

I think you're well off the mark, worth at least low four figures IMO.

I'd say it's worth the $XXXX you paid for it in Pool auction :P

I knew someone was goiong to say that.. :)

you can't go wrong with a two letter .ca like that. Common first letter of a first name, and great second letter for a second name (e.g.: James Anderson). Probably many other uses, but a good combination and easy to remember. Only 676 of them in existence. I'd say low to mid four figure value too.

I would not sell for less than low $$$$.
LL.ca are rare (provinces names already reserved for subdomains), in terms of image a company using their two initials has an edge.
eg Jet Airways
For the right end user this name is worth a neat amount.

I tried to get that domain.. I bid 500 Canadian and didnt upbid after that.
It's a decent 2 letter.ca but the uses are minimal. Being creative can increase its usage, but there are not alot of Canadians willing to fork over a skid of beer for a domain of acronym use. On the other hand Canada is about as multicultural is it gets, and being it has meaning in some languages could spark some interest.

This year I say its worth up to 1k.. next year well over double. This country is growing fast and our usage on the net isnt slowing down at all. Even if I managed to get it for 500 I'd never consider selling it for less than 2k.. and even then I'd probably hold onto it. Anything over 2k I'd jump on, but only because I have 0 personal interest in it.

what does it mean?

J(ack)A(ss).ca?

Hmmmm.

All kidding aside, I like the shortness of the domain, and the name combo works very nice. It has a nice ring.

Ja C A

Could be interpreted as a question Ja C A? "JA" substitution for some form of slang for "You" or "You All". "C" substituting for "See" and A substituting for the traditional canadian "Eh". Ja C A? Nice slogal.

Now, what the hell could that be used for? Not a clue.

I offer 1000$ for it
Now that's funny.

1st - This is an Appraisal Thread, and as per your rant in other threads about people not conforming to DNF rules, this makes you a hypocrite. tf

2nd - Why would someone sell a domain they bought at one price just weeks ago for a low-ball spam offer below what they paid for it?

:focus:

I appraise this domain @ around $2000 for end user.

NostraDomainus, what's your problem? Can't you just enjoy life?
1000$ is not a lowball offer, I don't know how much they paid for the name. I sold XP.ca for 1500$ recently. I think xp was better than ja.ca
Relax

LOL - Your defensive hypocracy is rich, proving your guilt.

Fact: You started a chain of events with righteous spam (how quickly you forget); and then ask what my problem is? Again, too funny, but not unexpected, rather, typical.

I never spoke to you before you spammed me like a newbie ranting about how you can't keep up to discussion threads or forum rules.

Only person who needs to relax is you with your continual disruption to other peoples threads and breaking of DNF Rules - How long have you been @ DNF now? tf

...but instead of trying to backtrack, just face it, you do not own DNF, so stop trying to act like you do.

Unlike Provider, I apologize to MightyD for this non-appraisal post, and will ask if Provider if he wants to discuss this to take it to PM rather than keep spamming your Thread.

Everyone can better enjoy life and DNF if people stopped breaking the rules and acting out like they own the place.

Moderators - please delete this post if unaquainted.
