ウェブ・ホスティング you registered web hosting with a dot in the middle...
and it still shows up as unregistered...don't bother registering it as i don't think other idners are registering domains with .'s in them.

Also you won't find good stuff like "web hosting" this late in the game.

Yes, Jeff is right. Japanese usually don't type the dot in between words. It's like have web-hosting.com instead of webhosting.com.

Good for SEO, but not a premium IDN at this stage.

well we really don't know yet if google will be picking up the . or the "-"

google is used to picking up "-" so time will tell. (i know japanese ppl use . tho)

However overture's bid tool picks up the . and not the - so google will probably make the "." the hypen for japanese.
