IMO reg fee :(

Japan's lower house has just passed the Bill. This organisation with $3 Trillion Dollars in assets will be privatised.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4329286.stm

It is difficult to imagine that much money changing hands without some commericial spin-off involving a web-site.

If you are trying to state that you hate or fear IDNs have the courage to say ZERO. These domain could potentially be worth nothing at all, although it is frankly a remote possibility. They certainly aren't worth reg fee!

No value to reg unless development.

Local Overture Scores using local tool
( http://inventory.jp.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/ )are:

郵政 民営化 176638
民営化 4513
郵政 41641
郵便 貯金 54545

Either one of us has far too much imagination or the other very little.

There is a $3 Trillion Dollar industry about to be Privatised here. These are the relevant keywords in the local language. The only thing impeding the flow of traffic is the non-availability of IE 7.0!

Right.
Japanese domain is not so popular at this moment because IE doesn't support it by default.
When it will be more popular with IE7, the words must not be popular.
The last one might be an exception though.

Anyway, good luck.

I say less then 0$.. I mean who would type in

"xn--5bvx68g.com"

I sure know that I wouldn't...

OK I don't get it you call me when you get your first type in..

Get type-ins on this kind of domain all the time. Not as many as we would like because IE 6.0 does not support the typing in of local character sets, and the Japanese use a plug-in that does not support gTLDs such as dot com. This will all change with a few months with the release and automatic update to IE 7.0.

The whole point is that nobody is expecting anyone to type in xn--. All they are expecting them to do is add dot com to the keywords that are being typed into search engines by the thousand everyday!

reg fee.

I make more money than all of the major japanese banks combined for the last few years. Well, any moron makes more than the japanese banks. postal privatization would just be another bank with big balance lending out to dead companies.

Yes, of course you are right, but this is regarded as the cornerstone of reforms that will revitalise and clean up the Japanese economy. Much of the problems stem from money not circulating properly.

This is as significant for Japan as Thatcher was for Britain. Britain in twenty years went from being the sickest economy in Europe to the only one that really works! This is BIG, there are going to massive fees to be made from the Privatisation and huge publicity will be needed. Can you imagine a 0.1% commission on $3 Triillion dollars?

a good solid reg fee (max) for now.
and probably for the future.

have a nice drop then :-)
seriously though, I see were you are coming from with the reggs (from a speculators POV).
It's just that I dont see were you are going with them...
:-)

US$0

I am sorry, but it is real.
Because I am Japanese.

These words are politics things.

I don't sell domains under $100, I let them drop!

So if someone offers you $99 for one, you say no? Give me a break man.

The domains aren't worth anything right, max 10$ for the set.
