People are mistaken. Jeep is trademarked, however jeep is not trademarked. I know this is confusing for people and even the people on this website don't understand it.
Jeep = is the brand
jeep = is the generic term.
There are 100's of trademarked terms that contain the word jeep that are not owned by Chrysler. There is also many jeep models that were called jeeps before Jeep was ever a brand.
The jeeps of WW2 were built by ford and willys and have nothing to do with Chrysler jeeps that started in 1980's.
I have owned MyJeepClub.com for over 10 years and have never had a single inquire into the use of the domain.
That being said, I don't see much value in your domain unless it is a mini site with information about the history and different models of jeeps since the 1930's to today.
