Today, I had a reasonably good domain I was after, and I had the Snap, a GD backorder, high bid at NW AND just as insurance- I backordered it at pool. Result? I DIDN'T GET IT!

This is the height of frustration.

As the saying goes "been there, done that".

Most of us have experienced it, one time or another.

And, we all know how extremely frustrated you are over it.

That probably means that BD got it with one of their own registrars.

What's worse is when you have a snap on a domain and the domain gets renewed. Then you take the snap off, and someone else puts the snap on it...then a year later the domain expires, drops, and is registered by snapnames...Ugh!... This has happened twice to me, and another domain I once had the snap on is now on hold...errrrrr

RMF- I just had a BUNCH that did that! I had snaps on them for quite a while, then they all got renewed out of redemption! B-U-M-M-E-R!

Decal- I rather not say the name, because it's one of a sort of group, and the rest are coming up....

Think- I can't WAIT to hear what happened! I hope you get your domain/domains!

And Clezmonguy ...... just what does that "f" stand for??? :cheeky:

Hey Cat,

For what it's worth, I feel your pain as well. I lost villagetheatre.com to BFD (btw the "f" is for FUN! wait, no, that's not right. FANTASTIC! no, that's not it either. hmmm....)

I really really wanted that domain, and tried for it at all of the drop services as well. Maybe they'll see this and donate it to me.

Ha!

LOL, you've been screwed. BFD survives on major markups in order to fund their acquisition and massive rubbish heap. That name now is probably $3,000 minimum now.

Get .INFO and .BIZ...

Better day today! :)

Got several decent drops, so I'm feeling better. For some reason, I always feel better when I win! :goofy:
