did a short family trip and saw Burnaby 8 rinks (nice soccer pitch in there), had lunch at Aphrodite in Kits, toured the UBC campus (more than double the buildings there now than when I was there in early 90's), Metrotown mall, Robson st. and ofcourse a day at the PNE.

Would have liked to stay an extra day and tour the seawall and Granville Island.

Was really struck by how many domains are posted everywhere, .ca and .com, on buildings, signs, vehicles. You just see them everywhere now.

I noticed this too on a trip in May. Yaletown was a particulalry .ca friendly area

No, I was there all day Monday - saw the Peking Acrobats, Superdogs, pig races, lumberjack show, Marketplace, farm animals, and did some Playland rides and games. All topped off by the Michael Bolton concert at 8pm (only could watch two songs - lol).

what was the zombie walk?
