It's definitely a pain to keep switching.
Worse when its an expensive SnapBack that
keeps bringing back the big goose egg.

I hear ya strongvis. This stuff certainly sucks up a lot of one's time.
At least with SnapNames and GoDaddy, you either have it or you don't though.

Currently, there are what 3-4 major auction based domain back-order services? Can you imagine working with 10 Pay-per-Performance auctions with varying base costs for each? Yikes. It'd be nice to have a bot that checks Pool, Namewinner, eNom, and whoever else to see how the bidding is going (instead of having to run to each site.) Like those eBay helpers. But, I know that's never going to happen.

WLS will benefit Verisign, but domains will have better price for investors.

Unless you don't pay the WLS renewal fee the following year...

Actually, "WILL lose snap" might be more appropriate in some cases, since current snaps won't be grandfathered, but only queued for WLS.
