Good for him, he is a successful guy and a nice guy too.

What's the big deal? Focus is claiming he sold a name for 50K, Where's the story on that sale?

Mann is pond scum.

Focus is on Mike Mann's team? I'm confused. All I know is that Chef Patrick wishes he got that domain :D

Come on Theo, Focus and you are good buds, I'm just curious why a 50K sale is going un-reported?

And many of us have not forgotten about the days when Mann robbed all us domainers of the opportunity to pick up backordered domains.... I myself lost far too many to that greedy SOB.

Let's not turn this into yet another Raider vs Focus spartathlon, please. Regarding unreported sales, I too did it in the past until the NDA expired.

And life isn't fair, that's for sure; if Mike Mann gets an advantage there will be another Mike Mann in the future. It's all a matter of hard work.

Many 50k+ sales go unreported. That's pretty normal.

It is not really a surprise to me that top tier keywords can be sold in .CO, as they can be sold in virtually any decent extension.

These keywords are obviously the top 0.01% of all terms and not attainable to the average person. These types of terms were all long gone when open registration began.

Brad

AFAIK, MM had the inside track already :D The .co launch grandfathered - with the exception of trademarks - all holders of .com.co

The few premium .CO that have been reported sold are for about 0.3% - 1% of the .COM value.

This is basically at the peak of interest for .CO. I am not sure that really means much for the average quality of regs I have seen.

Brad

Expecting $###,### for .co domains already?

I am actually surprised at the .co sales I have seen so far. Not just from MM but have seen a couple of others sale for nice prices as well. I figured some of the better keywords would sale but definitely surprised it has been this quick.
