Let's face it, putting a price on it right now would be irresponsible...haven't seen any sales data. Of coure PPCers won't be going after .mobi domains right now...

Until a pricing scale for .mobi is set no one will have any idea of the value. The only .mobi's that will be valuable in my opinion are ones that relate directly to "mobile" goods or services. Such as "text.mobi" or "ringtones.mobi."

I agree with you, I like the idea that it makes the user think that the page behind the URL is not so heavy and is loaded quickly.
