I was thinking about making a site about George Bush. Any thoughts?

Give it to your friend George. A certain magazine co. may have issues with you owning it.

Hi. There are lots of products and services named george. In fact, there are a lot of people named george. It's an ultra common first name. You can actually take most first names and there will be anywhere from 3-20 tms on them believe it or not.

In fact, most words have trademarks on them, even very generic words. For a trademark to be strong and defensible, it must be unique and you must be infringing on them.

Common first names are as ununique as you can get. And I don't infringe.

In any case, I may make a site for my friend george.

Hi
The Trademark issues are far to complicated for the most of us, its all legal paper stuff that costs tonnes and tonnes of cash, so its just a mine field really, potluck and good luck:confused:
