So I got the guys contact info from eBay and gave him a call. The number is no longer in service.....hmmm...well doesn't look like I sold the domain I am pretty sure this is a prank of some sort. Was it one of you guys playing a joke on me?

Is there by chance a domainer on this forum named Barney Crawford, or does anyone know Barney Crawford from Atlanta GA?

Sorry to hear that, lots of losers on eBay. You never know though, he could be legit. Sometimes people give the wrong number, I know I don't like getting called.

Pretty sure Paypal doesnt allow transaction over $10G's last time I checked. So paypal is not an option. Thanks for the advice though.

Well the crazy thing about this ebay listing is that it was 999 starting bid, and 11999 buy now, he took the buy now option.

hahaha.. He was probably drunk for sure. Either that or he didn't see the 999 starting bid and bought the domain right away, then his wife walked in and kicked his butt.

My friend has a big hosting company and one of his employees told me that once in a while they get a call in about a guy apologizing for purchasing a package because he was drunk and asking for a refund. Apparently, some people, when they get drunk decide to go on online shopping sprees, only to realize they spent a ton of money on the CC on the next statement.

Another 0 feedback buyer, I asked ebay for the contact info of buyer, and this time the phone number went to some old guy, who said as I quote "You guys leave me alone your the 5th person to call me today, I dont know who your looking for"

I told him that some one apparently used his info to open an ebay account and make false purchases...

...lol give me a brake....!

Well, my baby is officially late and scheduled for a baby extraction next Tuesday if he doesn't decide to show his little face sooner the natural way.
