I have had the domain for a few years, and yesterday I set the site up, as a short URL site. The script has been modified to allow people to send their new short link to their facebook friends or to "like" it to their facebook profile, and it allows them to make a comment about the link that they are promoting.
Note, the home page "like" button will like the website, however if after they create a new link, they can then "like" the new link, which would be a redirect to the site that they shortened.
