$200-$350 each

Maybe 2 years ago.

EXD.net (shorthand for Exodus in the Bible) $500 - $750
JWR.net (nice letter combo) $400 - $500

Prices for 3-letter .net's are where the 3-letter .com's were 2 years ago.

I agree with RADiSTAR. I also beleive you may be able to get even more for them if the right end user comes along but I would say they are good numbers to strive for.

I recently sold a so-called "bad letter" 3-Letter .net for $1,200 - a whole $1k profit. Don't sell out cheap (btw I used to own EXD.net and I regret selling it).

i've also owned "jwr.net"

as probably a few other members here, have as well.

theo pointed out how prices have risen, this is true!

when i acquired the domain, it was in feb. 2004.

price was $160.00!

this was only 12 months and a couple of weeks ago!

the year before that, in 2003, they were $80

and in 2002.....$40.00

the value rises because of........

development of domains into websites

sales of domains to endusers

auctions

the remaining in circulation, get circulated, as the price goes up and the availability diminishes.

therefore, the longer you hold them, the more valuable they become!

currently most are used by resellers as "quick currency sales" to purchase other domains.........when there are no enduser contacts.

if you got it for $300 > $350 then hold it til 2006

it should be worth $500 minimum then

I have got exd.net appraised by openforsale.com and he valued the domain to "high 4-figures".

I don't know, can you trust this appraisal? It seemed way to high..
