Well, we all know snapnames should be the ones getting netsol's drops, right?

What do you make of klingon.com???

It was with netsol.
I placed a backorder with SN and out of habit with pool and Enom.
Amazingly enough, enom caught it.
What happened to the 'partnership' of SN and netsol.

BTW, the current price at Enom is ridiculous, although the name is good.

If the SN backorder was made after the domain name was deleted, the SN-
NetSol thingie won't work. Eventually the name became up for grabs by just
about anyone.

Lucky you. :-D

I placed the order at least a week before...
weird...
and opens a window of speculation, like, If there arent enough SN orders, Netsol says, who gives a crap?

You mean the week before NetSol had it deleted and eventually switched to
Redemption?

AFAIK, NetSol will transfer an expired name as long as there's someone who
backordered it via SN. But...anything can happen! :-D

thats my point. Anything can happen.

I placed the order to be precise 5 days before it expired (expired in the old days way).
in any case, its at $1100 at ENom now, so I am sure I wasnt the only one at SN to place that order.
So , I am getting at....
Maybe netsol and SN have some sort of formula, and if NOT enough orders are placed it is released...?
food for thought (and for domain catching)

A few domains went to redemption although I had them in my list at snapnames.
I am sure others had the same names too.

Also some went to redemption, went to auction, auction ended and then the domains were restored!

It's kind of interesting actually. I noticed, a few months ago, that Netsol
started to drop (into SN auctions) names that expired a LONG time ago
but Netsol never dropped them.

I also noticed that SN and/or Netsol wait for a fair amount of interest to build
up before a name goes to auction. I placed a bid on about 4 names, and
by Netsol count, the auction should have started. I knew these were
fairly hard to find domains because of how I came about them. The auction
time past, I ended up e-mailing SnapNames a few days AFTER
the auction was suppose to start and they "started it manually".

On other auctions I noticed that those with a lot of bids started quickly.

Makes sense, so I'm not complaining, just letting you know what I found
out.

qaStaH nuq? (in klingon)

lingo.net was with netsol, and it yet failed to go to SN.

should we take this as an on going sign that SN is NOT the exclusive market for netsol names???

Seeker, SN has exclusive rights to Netsol's names only when they are 36 days past expiry and BEFORE they hit REDEMPTIONPERIOD. Once they're past REDEMPTIONPERIOD and into PENDINGDELTE, it's everyone's game.
