closed knackster.com & soccerfan.org is it worth it?

Give me your 2¢ on the value of these domains, if you please. They slipped though the cracks and are now in redemption period at eNom. I have to decide whether to get them back @ $160 e.a.:

knackster.com
soccerfan.org

dude, whats up with that btw? I have gotten an email from my enom reseller I have a BUNCH of old domains with and I let one expire (luckily one I dont want anyways) and after like a week of expiration I was told it's now in redemption and will cost $185 to renew it, am I crazy or do we not get 30 more days after the initial expire? Someone please help out if I am misunderstanding this....


If you like the domains, and money is'nt a big deal..then the answer is YES....

If they just sit there and do NOTHING for you and you cannot sell them, then NO...

I personally like SoccerFan.org...good domain but not sure I would pay $160 for it...might be worth it to you if you have had it for awhile...the other one is garbage too much like napster and a TM headache waiting to happen IMO

There's normally a 30 day grace period after expiry, before a domain goes into the redemption period.

Agreed, Thats what I understand...I think the good old crooks (sometimes) at enom are trying to swindle some of the better domains from people and hope they dont know the rules on drop...I will follow up on this soon..
