For Sale Large portfolios dropping today?

After spending some time on deleteddomains this afternoon, it looks like a rather large amount of names dropped today. Many seemed to belong to portfolios based on numerous themes.

example searches in "newest deletions" area:
solutions
directory

What do you think? Typical or are speculators dumping.

there was a big drop 5th 6th 7th

It looked like 102,837 deletes all at once that were using mydomains.com

Actually duck, you were the first person I thought about when I read that inital post and asked myself "where can I get the list to see what names dropped"

Geez, somebody really spent some bucks registering all those "theme" names... and now... poof, dropped.

Moral of the story - made up names don't hack it.
