I acquired this name recently, and although my goal is to develope this name, I did receive an inquiry this morning as to whether I would be interested in selling. I told them to submit a serious offer and I would review it.

Any thoughts out there in DnForum as to what a good price is? I view this domain as one of the top three pure type-in domains for legal jobs, next to lawjobs.com and attorneyjobs.com. Both are extremely active and profitable.

Thoughts please.

Thanks

Ok, the proposed purchaser sent me an offer.

At this stage the domain name would complement our business quite well however we would not be prepared to offer more than $4,000 at this time.

I don't think his offer is even close to sufficient, what do you think?

I would take it and run, but if you want, try going back with $8k or so.

That is a thought, but still inadequate based on the market. IMO.

I own WineJob.com and it gets about 40 type-ins per day. Iwould be looking for $10k for that name. Without your site being undeveloped I would say the proposed purchaser came pretty close. If I owned it I would be looking for $6500 to $7500 but some offers only come one time. I would reply with " Are you sure you couldn't come up to $6500/$7500 based on managemnet expectations? LMK. Sincerely. Blah Blah Blah." If they say No, your next responce is, "Management has recieved other offers for the site and would hesitate at any offers under $6500, thank you for your interest and contact us for further details regarding current traffic if still interested." Make sure you plug the name in somewhere so you can collect stats on traffic. I would say you would recieve aboout 75 type-ins per day or more already.

Cheers!

You could sell some expensive career advice on a site like that. So the price should be on the high side.

Undeveloped fancy name, with insignificant natural type-ins and no high search results have only nice sound. I don't think LawyerJobs.com is worth more than $300-400 as is.

WineJob.com up to $250.

IMO all ofers above that are clear opportunities.
