Considering there have been 11 public sales of $100,000 or more in 2006, I would highly, highly doubt you could find someone willing to pay $xxx,xxx as people have quoted. My guess is that you could get someone to possibly pay 2.5x yearly revs, so you are probably looking somewhere around $36k (on a very good day). Good luck!

If your getting 1,000 visitors per day and making $40 per day, I would say it's monetizing pretty well. I'm going to guess most visitors are looking for Myspace layouts? 2-4 years revenue would probably be realistic.
You may get a much higher premium if you could sell or lease it to one of the advertisers that shows up on your site. They can probably make a whole lot more money with that 1,000 type-ins.

what excellent suggestions I will create a new page for "myspace layouts ". I have considered renting it to a business that sells templates or web design services but going to them is always a hard sale, most people don't understand the value in buying all of that traffic wholesale and the authority that having such a domain can bring.

Yeah I agree there seems to be alot of people around these days who don't take into consideration how much buying traffic (and not even directly targeted traffic at that) would cost. If you just went for a minimum bid of $.05 a unique and thats lowballing it extremely you're talking $50 a day. That comes to $18,250 selling this name for less than 4x that would be insane. An Average Joe could retire on such a name if put to good use.

Your absolutly right I am only getting paid for 10% of the unique traffic and I am only getting about 1/2 of what google gets paid for those clicks so that means to the bidders the total traffic is worth more than 20 times what I am getting paid ... I see what you mean how some "average joe" could retire with this name.
