Legality of owning celebrity's names as DNs?

Sorry for the noob question, but I recently purchased a few domains consisting of celebrity and athlete names, e.g. michaeljordan.com (obv didn't get that one, but some of that same firstlast.com format.)


Is that illegal? I didn't really even consider that it could be, but I'm told that it's explicitly prohibited by the ACPA? Is it well-settled law that purchasing a celebrity's name as a DN is illegal? What if I don't actually park them, but just set up a Sedo offer page?
